Psychotherapy for Water types

Group or individual psychotherapy sessions can be extremely beneficial for Water types, who often need help breaking up rigid behavior patterns or emerging from their protective shell and risking emotional involvement.  It’s essential, however, that you choose a psychotherapist or counselor who focuses on the present rather than the past.  When your energy is out of balance, you will have a tendency to look back to the past and brood on what once was or could have been, or you may be drawn forward into the future, experiencing fears of the unknown or imagining disasters that might take place.  Ask your therapist to help you live in the present moment, stay true to yourself (which, for Water, is often an eccentric, unorthodox way of being)…
